One-camera-one-lens-one-year
Vol.3
2025 years challenges
Starting on the the 1st of June 2025 and ending the 31st of May 2026
Both the camera and lens is completely new to me and I’m switching from 7 years with Fujifilm and many more years with Canon to a completely new system, new menus and a fullframe sensor.
I hope this camera will take me on amazing journeys and let me see the world through new eyes.
This One-camera-one-lens-one-year will be different from the last two. I will be a bit more free in terms of challenges but I have made a few rules and challenges for myself.
RulEs:
Only photograph in M-mode throughout the year and only photograph in Black and white.
Edit my new images every Monday (Monochrome Monday)
Print out 36 of my favourite images from the year. Like a 35mm film, The roll-of-fame.
Have fun, don't stress and enjoy the process.
Use a small notebook for creative ideas, challenges and stories.
The zf-files Ocoloy vol.3 / 2025-2026
For the third time I’ve decided to dedicate my year of photography to only one camera and one lens. This time the star of the show is the modern classic Nikon ZF with the legendary Voigtlander 40mm 1.2.
I’m going to post my favourite photographs every month here on this page.
CHALLENGES 25-26
I'‘ve made six different folders I would like to fill with nice photographs over the year. These are all styles I would like to get better at. 6 images from each challenge will be printed.
Square crop-minimalistic
The more I shoot in black and white the less I want in a photograph. The squarecrop 1:1 aspectc ratio expand the mind a bit further and looks great in print.
Double exposures
Easy to do but hard to master.
Environmental portraits
I love environmental portraits but I got a long way to go before I'm satisfied.
Tripod
I only use my tripod for astrophotography but really appreciate the slow pace of setting up a scene or getting a crisp landscape shot. I need to use my tripod more
Streetphotography
I fall in and out of love with streetphotography all the time. I need to step up my game in this genre.
On the road
A few of my favorite photographers have captured a life on the road in an absolutely amazing way. From tour with bands to roadtrips throughout the country. I prefer the vintage/retro style of the images when it comes to roadtrips. You should be able to smell the photo or hear an old classic song in your head when you look at the photos.
